Kidz-n-Biz is moving forward

Hello Kidz-n-Biz Owners,

First of all I want to say I am so proud of all of you. You are being so committed to your businesses. Keep up the good work.

Secondly, I want to mention to you our guest speakers last Wednesday, Eunice Ulloa and Enrique Melendez were very impressed with our project and particularly you. Way to go team...

We are more than half way through the Kidz-n-Biz project. It's going to be a great race to the finish line. Where do you think you will finish up, 1st, 2nd or 3rd place? All of you have a chance to win some big money.

Here is your JIT point opportunity. For 300 points, list three things you would consider doing with $500 if you win 1st place? Remember you have to list three different things to get the 300 points.

Special JIT Point Opportunity:
Up to this point you have been able to get 100 points for each $10 donation for a T-shirt. The more donations you get, the greater opportunity you have to be the 1st place winner in your age category.

From today through August 20th each $10 donation for a T-shirt is worth 250 points. That means if one of your friends donates $20 for a T-shirt you get 500 points. If you get somebody to donate $100 you get 2,500 points.

This will give those of you who have just a few points a good chance to boost your ranking. It will give those of you who are out in front a good reason to stay motivated and finish strong.

Here's how you go about getting donations.

1. Use the donation order form I gave you last week
2. Have each person print their name, address, phone number and size(s) on the form
3. Bring the form back each week and we'll get the T-shirt(s) made
4. You deliver the T-shirt(s) with your mom or dad and collect the donation
5. You bring the donation to class and you will be credited with the points you earned

What a great opportunity to get your team involved.

Remember to see the rules for attendance regarding how prize winners will be determined.

Kidz-n-Biz Interviews

Hello Kidz-n-Biz Owners,

Ready to get some JIT points? Here we go. All you have to do is wear your Kidz-n-Biz t-shirt to our session next Wednesday and you'll get 100 points. If you don't have a t-shirt just make a comment saying, "I want a Kidz-n-Biz t-shirt." Also be sure to list your size. There is one other rule. You have be signed in at 3:59 pm on Wednesday with Margie. It's as easy as that to get 100 points. If you already bought one you can get a free one and earn 100 points also but you have to comment, "I want a Kidz-n-Biz t-shirt."

Want a secret to earning big points. Get bigger donations. Here's an example. Alexx got her big sister give a donation of $50 and Alexx got 500 points. Congratulations Alexx.

Remember to be on time for Wednesday. We will be starting promptly at 4:00 pm. We have a two special guests coming to be with us. Eunice Ulloa, council member for the City of Chino and the other is Enrique Melendez the Assistant Director of Admissions for Community Christian College.

Teamwork

Hey business owners! That sounds nice doesn't it? I wanted to remind you that Wednesday is a big day. The mall opens Wednesday and you need to be ready. Being ready means planning ahead of time. It means that you think of everything that you might need and have it ready so that you do not forget something important. I look forward to speaking to you today. The topic is Teamwork. Did you know there is no " I " in team? We will talk about that tomorrow.
